Wild 2.0 is a project to heal the neighborhood in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan, by turning car parks into islands with created wild gardens on which residents stand. Gardens mediate among urban rooms and become part of living space; in that sense, private and public spaces and activities are blurred. Gardens act as extra rooms where indoor activities can extend into the sun. Each room (≤ 30 m2) is designed as much as possible to be ambiguous (by pillars and platforms) to allow the living space to close, open, and change. It stimulates a new way of living.
