The anatomy: the garden weaves through the house

Gardens transition through spaces both horizontally and vertically
The project explores the architecture of garden houses in the context of increasingly dense urban environments. As urban constructions intensify, garden houses play a crucial role in shaping green chains across the city. Each garden house acts as a modular green unit—an individual sub-element that contributes a specific green area. When assembled, these units form a collective urban fabric, interwoven with a network of interconnected gardens.
This research proposes a new urban scenario and way of thinking, in which the city is no longer a rigid composition of enclosed parts, but an evolving system interspersed with 'soft' elements. Living space is no longer limited to the physical house but expands into gardens and other open, shared spatial layers.
The structural idea is driven by the arrangement of large and small volumes, varying in density, porosity, and coverage. These volumes can follow a fixed geometric system or a more organic, free-form structure, allowing for flexible spatial development and dynamic transitions.
